Welcome to the experimental aircraft association's chapter 66 official website. Based in Ft. Myers, Florida we are an association of aviation enthusiasts bringing general aviation flying experience to interested parties in Southwest Florida. Our clubhouse is located at Page Field (KFMY) on the Northeast side of the property. Our membership consists of up to 100 people from all walks of life, ages and aviation interests. Our social events include monthly pancake breakfast fly-ins, an active Young Eagles program, affiliation with the Page Field Aviation Days and numerous aviation-associated events. Check out our Events page for more information. We welcome all persons interested in aviation to join us. It is not necessary to be a pilot to be a member of EAA or its Chapters. We encourage members to also join the National EAA Organization for their many benefits and excellent data-based website. Our chapter meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of each month at our Page Field hanger. Membership application is easy. Just click onto our Membership Application page, fill out the brief form, print it and mail it to the address on the bottom of the page. In addition to the events discussed above, a group of chapter members is in the process of building a Zenith Zodiac CH 601 HD, which will qualify for the newly announced Light Sport Aircraft class for Sport Pilots. This on-going multi-year old project gives members an opportunity to have some "hands-on" experience with aircraft construction, learn construction techniques, and pick the brains of other aircraft builders. We meet every Thursday evening.
